2019 comes to a close. I have seen many posts where people had a word for their year or what they hoped it would be. I didn’t have one at the beginning of the year however, I clearly see my word would be community!!!! This year was one of the most encouraging in my walk with Christ and with other believers. God brought us to The Fields Church a year in a half ago and that has been life giving! I prayed for community from the time Brian and I got married. Don’t get me wrong we have had friends over the years and I am beyond thankful for them all. What we have had this last year is community that builds each other up, shares truth in love, gives all they have, it’s real in such awesome ways, humility, I could go on and on.
I have had several young ladies ask me to mentor them this year. It’s been such a blessing. These girls want to live life together in such a real way. I have had to share hard truths and they have not run away! God is doing something remarkable through this body! I have had the opportunity to watch so many people grow closer to the Lord this year.
The opportunities Brian and I have had for ministry have been the sweetest. We had no idea 2019 would bring so many people for biblical counseling. It turned into a part time job! Our community group has been so sweet and full of growth and praise. Brian got the opportunity to
preach on the last Sunday of 2019!!
God has blessed our family so much this year! We are so thankful for our sweet little ones. They are such a treasure. I wouldn’t trade them for anything even though I have felt like a horrible parent this year. I lacked patience and love to say the least. So thankful God is working in me and I can go to him in prayer! We continue to pray for
our oldest. He is in a dark place and has been for a long time. We trust God can transform!
Thankful to have celebrated 9 years of marriage to my better half! I love him to pieces. We have been blessed this year with friends who have become family and have given us several over night dates alone! That’s been a real change. So thankful!
Thank you to those who have lived life with us!!! You are such a blessing to our lives!!! Looking forward to my last year in my 30’s and beyond excited to turn 40 at the beginning of 2021. With age truly has come wisdom and growth by the grace of God!
May 2020 bring more Jesus into all of our lives. Praying that I would glorify God more and more! That I would spend more time with Him and go to Him first. Happy New Year!
