Abby is 22 months old

I am close to two weeks late on this update. Abby is learning so much every day! It is a very fun stage especially since she has been such a sweet girl and her tantrums have take a good long break. She talks like crazy, she repeats everything, she asks to pray often, she still sings most of the day. Her favorite songs right now are Jesus Loves Me and Amazing Grace. She is becoming less picky with food, I can get her to eat much more now that I give her one gummy best after dinner. I have also discovered I can get her to go on her big girl potty if I give her candy. My girl has a sweet tooth:) She is so easy to put to sleep these days. Especially since we got a video monitor in her room we can watch her through. She is super scared of it and will no longer play in her room alone and once we put her in bed she is quiet as a mouse. She loves jewelry still, she has to pick out her clothes most day but especially her dress on Sundays before church, she loves shoes, taking baths, she loves watching her educational movies like Leap Frog and a couple others. I love when she needs to give me something she says," here you go mommy," my heart melts! She loves her daddy and brother like crazy. When bubba gets home on Fridays she hugs him and then the arguing begins:) lol! He loves teaching her new things and he loves spending time with her. It is so sweet. We love our little girl! 

Babymoon

Brian and I took our first 24 hours away with no kids since almost 2 years ago. We got a room at the Bahia Resort in Mission Bay which is where we stayed on our wedding night. We had a wonderful time relaxing and the weather was great! It was hard for me to be away from Abby but she did so great with our friends! Thank you to Rebekah and Michael for loving on our little girl and giving Brian and I this sweet time away:)

Summer comes to a close 7th grade begins

Collin has had such a fun summer this year! Brian and I were so blessed by the amazing friendships that developed through our church friends. It is the first summer he has had a good group of friends at our home and so much to do! I praise God for that! This summer consisted of lots of swimming, paint balling, fishing, a boys fantasy club playing Dungeons and Dragons, a family vacation, and so much more. Yesterday was Collins last full day of summer at our home. We love having him more and will miss that. On Monday he starts the 7th grade! He will be 12 in less than a month! I can not believe how much he has grown up and changed! Praying God will soften his heart, that he will come to love and know him, and be more like Jesus daily! That to us is the most important part of life! On another note we pray he adjusts well to his new school and meets friends that will be a good influence on him and visa versa! Love this kid!

35 weeks

In 40 minutes I will be 35 weeks pregnant! Wow!!! I can not believe this pregnancy is coming to an end and baby Asher will be in my arms soon. I love him so much and can not wait to kiss and love him. This trimester had been the best one. I am for sure getting tired but I can't complain. I have had no other issues which is such a blessing. I do not have too many cravings outside of chips and chocolate:), I love my 945pm second dinner which usually means cereal. This little guy is so busy and has been for weeks. He moves all day and night. It feels like an earthquake in my stomach. I am ready and hoping he comes early, however, may the Lords will be done!!! 

My little flower Girl

Abby was asked to be a flower girl in my friend Jenny's wedding. We felt very honored she asked. She got to walk down the aisle with one of her best friends and our neighbors Noah. The two of them were absolutely adorable! Abby did not make it very far down the aisle but she was still cute as a button and the wedding was beautiful! Congrats Pelly and Jenny!

Baby Shower for Asher

And again my sweet family at Grace Church blessed me! This baby shower was so sweet and special as I got to share it with a friend who is about to have twin girls the same time as me. Our friend April put this sweet event together and did an amazing job with decorating and organizing. It was such a wonderful turnout and I was blessed to have my mother and grandma attend. Also Brian's mom, grandma, and sister sent a big box of gifts from Idaho for me to open up and my sweet friend Julia who lives in Northern California sent me a package as well. Brian and I are very blessed to be at Grace Church! So excited to meet this little guy in 4-6 weeks! Can not wait!

Coronado

A couple weeks ago our friends blessed

us with a stay at their beautiful home in Coronado while they were out of town for a weekend. Collin spent that weekend with his friends so he was not able to make it. He probably would have been pretty bored any way because we did a lot of relaxing:) Abby loved all the little girl toys she got to play with at their place and slept really well!
