Asher is 10 months old

My little man turned 10 months old yesterday! He is constantly growing and making me smile. Asher is still very laid back and happy. He loves being around people, he loves to play with his siblings, his new favorite game is getting in his walker and chasing Abby around while she rides on a car. He stopped nursing about two weeks ago, he has 6 teeth and more on the way, he is starting to scoot around the house and get up on all fours, he prefers to have us help him walk every where. He is very strong and getting very active. He is very easy to put to bed but still wakes up to have a bottle two to three times a night. This boy loves food. He eats any and everything! Exactly at 10 months he say himself up for the first time!  Asher boy melts my heart! (A day or two after turning 10months Asher got another tooth. Making that 7 with one more on the way! And five days later started waving hi:) he also can do "more" in sign language) .

No more of mommies milk:(

Asher will be 10 months in a week in a half. My little buddy has decided to stop nursing. It's pretty sad for me but I am thankful he is happy and healthy and growing. We started giving him a bottle of formula at night a few months ago and sometimes a bottle or two during the day. This helped him from waking up every 45 min at night to waking about just a few times. And recently his average has been twice a night. I needed my sleep and could tell nursing was not filling him up. He also eats food three meals a day and loves to snack. What a good eater I have! 

I love this little man. He is starting to move around a bit scooting himself to reach my phone or a shoe:) 

He is my little man! I love this boy! 

And onto a new season we go! 

Asher is 9 months old

Our sweet baby boy is getting so big! He is about 20lbs, has 4 teeth and three to four more headed out soon! He loves to jump around, finally started rolling both ways, loves his walker, he eats so much food. We are currently nursing, followed by rice cereal and any veggies and fruit I blend up, and sometimes followed up by formula. He is such a hungry guy! His favorite foods are sweet potatoes, carrots, squash, bananas, and strawberries! 

He is still not a good night sleeper. But some nights he only wakes up twice. So those nights are great! 

He is still the sweetes, happiest, most content little guy! I just adore him to pieces!!! 

Asher turned 8 months old today

This sweet boy warms my heart! I just adore him to pieces. How can you not love that huge smile, huge head, chunky body, and all around silliness. He is still our very relaxed baby. He has never needed to be held much, he could play in the same excersaucer for an hour, he is so easy to put to sleep with no rocking, he absolutely loves to eat. He love squash and sweet potatoes the most with some peas mixed in, he loves all fruit so far. It has been fun feeding him baby food since Abby never liked it. Of course we could not have it all... Asher is still not the best sleeper. He is up 2-3 times a night but that is much better than every 45 minutes. Praise God it has gotten better for now. He still only has 2 teeth but I can tell he is working on more. He is wearing a size 4 diaper all day but a 5 at night! What a big boy. He is mostly in size 12 month clothes. This boy just blesses each of our lives! Praise God for him!

Asher turns 7 months

Our little monkey turned 7 months old a week or so ago. He is just the sweetest little guy. I never imagined the love you could have for your kids. He is still such a chill little man, he wants nothing to do with rolling over or sitting. His preference is standing and bouncing around in his excersaucer. He loves it! He really enjoys squash and still nurses every two hours. We just had his 7 month appointment Monday. He weighs 19lbs 7ounces (which now he weighs 20 plus I am sure) that puts him in the 65th percentile, about 19lb which puts him in the 93rd percentile, and his head is 18 1/3" which puts him in the 95th percentile for his head! 

He got his first two teeth a month ago but has no others yet. He is still a really bad sleeper at night but amazing napper and super super chill. Rarely cries! We are so thankful for this little person God blessed us with! 

Asher is 6 months old

On the 22nd which was 5 days ago our little am turned 6 months old! Wow this time has gone fast and slow all at the same time! What makes it seem slow is that he is still such a bad sleeper at night. Up all night wanting to nurse or get his pacifier. I have never been so exhausted in my life!  Although he is a terrible night sleeper he is such a chill kid all day! He just hangs out and smiles all day. He takes awesome naps too. I adore him to pieces!!! He is huge! Wearing mostly 12 month clothes. He is probably 18lbs or more by now. He has a 7 month check up. Asher is a lot like Abby as a baby. They both are content just being in a bouncer or on the floor. He is showing signs of almost rolling over and is maybe close to sitting. He loves his exersaucer. He's just the sweetest thing! 

As he turned 6months Abby started potty training and Collin started homeschooling. It's been a fun adventure! 

Homeschooling Collin

Today started our official first day of homeschooling Collin! It was absolutely incredible! We all love having Collin here! He is loving life right now and is so happy. He loves the curriculum and has such a great attitude. Here are my favorite things that happened today. Collin woke up and looked at the whiteboard and said,"this is so cool." I have been so shocked with how bad he wants to study and get right into it all. Collin, Asher and I went to Walmart to finish off our reading nook and while we were in line he said to me," we are going to become like best buds now," I melted!!!! While Collin was working on his memory verse today Abby sat down and started reciting her verses! Then Collin was working on his classical conversation work and Abby jumped right in and wanted to be apart of it all. The kids took a break and got to have a picnic as well.
